Have you ever had a meeting go extraordinarily well, only to have the momentum stop in its tracks and never pick back up?
Everyone leaves the meeting excited and looking forward to the next meeting—yet that next meeting never occurs.
What happened? We unintentionally and unknowingly created friction for the client and created homework for them that overwhelmed them and caused them to cancel the next meeting and then go completely radio silent.
Tom and I have certainly had that happen over the years. In this episode, we discuss specific actions you can take to rethink your process and reduce friction from the client’s perspective
Imagine if you could make small tweaks here and there to make things easy for your clients, draw them in, and make them want to send you follow up items in between meetings. After listening to this episode, you will uncover ways to do exactly that!
You will learn specific ways to rethink your processes and make significant improvements by making small changes. As always with PodPlus content and with our business, the little things make a big difference.
Will and Tom share some specific language they use to simplify things for clients and prospects and achieve dramatically different results by reducing friction and changing your client’s future and changing your own future as a result!

In this episode, Tom shares some great perspective that can help us all see the value of ruts, and learn how we can dig new ones parallel to the one that has served us well up to now.
Have you ever found yourself thinking that you are very effective at what you are doing, and yet there is a vague sense that something isn’t right? A sense that you are capable of more?
In this episode, Tom shares examples of how he has chosen to dig new ruts while continuing to do what is working for him until he can move totally into the new rut. Then, once he gets comfortable in the new rut, he realizes it is time to dig another one. Will and Tom both share examples of this in their careers and that the time to make the change is almost always when you feel most comfortable doing what you are doing and are afraid to make the change.
